HOW LICCI WORKS

A disciplined route from understanding the problem to making change work.

LICCI combines senior judgement, evidence and practical delivery thinking to help leadership teams understand what is happening, decide what needs to change and create a workable route forward.

The approach is structured but adaptable, shaped by the challenge, the organisation and the level of support needed.

PRINCIPAL-LED

Senior judgement where it matters.

Dr Vasileios Stamatis leads LICCI engagements and is personally responsible for the parts where senior judgement matters most: framing the challenge, interpreting the diagnosis, working through key executive choices and the final quality review.

EVIDENCE-LED

Clear about what the evidence can support.

LICCI separates what is known from what is assumed, interpreted or still uncertain. The aim is not artificial certainty, but a sound basis for deciding what to do next.

If the evidence does not support a major commitment, LICCI may recommend further diagnosis, a smaller next step or a reversible pilot.

The practical standard

  • Start with the question the evidence needs to answer
  • Test important conclusions from more than one perspective
  • Make significant assumptions and uncertainty visible
  • Be clear about what could change the conclusion
  • Connect findings to the choices and actions that follow

A MODULAR TRANSFORMATION LIFECYCLE

Use the stages the work requires.

Embed & Renew

The stages follow LICCI’s own method; the depth, pace and tools adapt to the organisation and the challenge. Not every piece of work uses every stage. A Sprint may end once the strategic route is clear. A Diagnostic may show that proceeding is not yet justified. Wider work can continue into mobilisation, implementation and renewal.

SPECIALIST EXPERTISE

The right expertise, with clear responsibility.

LICCI is principal-led. When additional expertise is needed, selected associates or qualified specialists can contribute in areas such as research, change, organisation design, AI and data, evaluation, programme or project work.

Their roles are clear from the outset, so you know who is leading the work and who is responsible for specialist input.

Principal

Leads the engagement, the key judgement and overall quality.

Associate

Contributes specialist or delivery expertise within an agreed role.

Qualified specialist

Provides legal, regulated or technical expertise where required.

AI AS ORGANISATIONAL CHANGE

The question is not which tool to buy first.

LICCI starts with the work: where value might be created, what decisions and judgements are involved, how workflows and roles would change, and what responsible adoption would require.

That means considering technology alongside data, controls, capability, human judgement and the practical realities of implementation.

Workflow value and use cases · Human judgement and roles · Data and controls · Capability and adoption · Benefits and implementation

Tools and prompting may form part of the answer. They are not the starting point for organisational transformation.

FROM ADVICE TO IMPLEMENTATION

A recommendation isn’t finished until it can be acted on.

LICCI works through what a recommendation means in practice: who needs to act, what has to change, which dependencies and risks matter, what capability is required and how progress and benefits will be assessed.
